About Us

What spurred on a small group of women to create WOW?

Our group was created the day after the U.S. Supreme Court announcement on June 24, 2022 that Roe v. Wade had been overturned, taking away a woman’s constitutional freedom. We knew we had to take action.

Our group, WOW, focuses on woman’s issues including;

• Reproductive Rights and Justice
• Education Of Our Children
• LGBTQ Issues
• Equality
• Gun Safety
• Climate Change

Our goal is to bring education, community awareness, fundraising events and volunteer opportunities to our members, and to offer our support to women’s causes nationwide. Our group strives to make a difference.
